Talent Hub Group Management Attends AFIP Spring Networking Dinner to Promote Compliance and Professional Development in the Financing Industry

2026-3-3

The “2026 Spring Networking Dinner for the Financing Industry and Corporate Professional Services Sector”, organised by the Association of Financing Industry Practitioners (AFIP), was successfully held recently. Mr. Ivan Law, Group Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Talent Hub Group, together with Mr. Alex Lau, Group Chief Operating Officer, attended the event and engaged with industry peers from Hong Kong’s financial and professional services sectors to exchange insights on market trends and professional practices.

The event also featured the “Credit Industry Knowledge Quiz Competition” and the “Hong Kong Credit Snooker Cup” Award Presentation Ceremony, providing a dynamic platform for both professional development and industry engagement. Against the backdrop of increasingly stringent regulatory requirements, the quiz competition revisited key compliance areas, including the Money Lenders Ordinance, anti-money laundering (AML), and counter-terrorist financing (CTF), reinforcing the importance of compliance and risk awareness in daily operations.

The inclusion of a snooker competition as part of the programme symbolised the strategic nature of credit business, where precision, judgment, and overall planning are essential. This innovative approach fostered meaningful interaction among participants while strengthening industry connections.

Talent Hub Group supports AFIP’s ongoing efforts to enhance professionalism and compliance standards across the financing industry. With regulatory developments such as enhanced supervision of licensed money lenders and increased credit data integration, the industry is moving towards a more transparent and sustainable model. The Group will continue to actively participate in industry initiatives and professional training, while driving business innovation within a robust compliance framework to reinforce its long-term positioning in Hong Kong’s financial and real estate sectors.
